Let's Get Acquainted
A proper pen and a sheet of paper are two things that have made me happy since I first graduated from a No. 2 pencil to the weightier and smoother ease of writing and drawing with a pen. An entire lifetime later, and my overstimulated brain relaxes into the moment with just my favorite writing instrument and a sturdy notebook.
Recently visiting with a lifelong friend, she reminded me of the constant flow of letters we kept in our teen and young adult years. We wish we'd kept them all. I'm sure they'd completely embarrass us now. (They'd also offer insight into our personal evolvement.)
I do recall, though, the sense of accomplishment and comfort I felt when I shared some observations, dreams, or concerns as I sealed the envelope and positioned the stamp, knowing I'd be understood and supported.
The intention here is to build a community of those curious about this shared consciousness we refer to as The World. Let's create an endless conversation that may benefit everyone.
